Delaware River Fishing Reports...SHAD
« on: March 20, 2012, 03:18:56 PM »
The NJDEP Division of Fish and Wildlife is reminding anglers that information on early season Delaware River fishing is posted on the division's website.  Every year American shad migrate up the Delaware River to spawn, and the numbers and timing of the "shad run" vary year to year depending on water temperature and conditions.  Consulting the Delaware River Fishing Reports page can provide anglers with information to help make every fishing trip a success.

The 2012 reports are posted at http://www.njfishandwildlife.com/del_river_rpt12.htm , and reports going back to 2001 are also available

Fishing, with me, has always been an excuse to drink in the daytime.
