Navionic Gold + Chip
« on: April 05, 2012, 11:21:36 AM »
Does anyone use the Navionic Gold + Chip for their Chartplotter. My LCX-28 has built in charts but I was wondering if the Navionic are worth the extra money.

The chip will have much more detail than the built in chart.

I have the gold, it's pretty good. I would get the platinum  but my
Machine won't process it.

Eddie is Right---gold plus will work with the upgrade and p+ won't on certain machines--depends on what you have--NOTE--fish-n chips is 99.00--for what it worth

The platinum won't work with mine but the gold will.  Not sure what the fish-n-chip is.

It is a chip that shows the bottom contours in EXTREME detail.  t^

I've seen the fish n chip on the Irish Ayes and the  Contour really looks good. If you go on the Navionics website you will see tutorial videos

Matt can get the cards for you. I got mine from him.
