it was 4 years ago today on April 10th that this board and I lost a GOOD FRIEND and Fishing Companion Capt Victor Medina......   :'(

He was a top notch insane fishing addict like many of us here, also a friend who would go beyond to help ya out or do something for you... and he is now and will be FOREVER MISSED....   :'(

Please be aware of the feelings and moods of the people you care about on this planet.... Victor was sadly troubled beyond belief, and I KNOW if more people were aware of this at that time he would still be bailing stripers right now today .......

R.I.P. Junito...... we will meet again one day.......

I never knew Victor but it sounds like he was a good guy to be friends with. May he Rest In Peace.  slt

I will never forget that day.. I was talking on the phone with him the night before he passed.. I told me about some issues, but nothing seemed to be that serious.  The next day, when I logged onto this site, I saw the post about him passing away.  I thought is was a joke at first, but it wasn't.  This guy know fishing... Very helpful and when I had him on my boat, he opens his tackle bag and says, enjoy, whats mine is yours.  Great guy and a horrible loss.
