SH Stripers 4/11/12
« on: April 11, 2012, 03:21:20 PM »
I was down at the marina enjoying a quick lunch today, wondering if the wind was gonna lay down anytime soon. A fellow GW owner motored in with a limit cooler full of the cleanest, fattest linesiders I have seen in awhile. A little prodding revealed that he was (big surprise) trolling stretch's in some (also big surprise) sporty conditions but the fish are there. He suggested to try the channel edges during a running tide, right around The Hook.

Be careful out there; water taped out right around 50.

Yup, they're all out there, just have to deal with the crappy wind and seas to get them.  Hoping it lays down Friday.
The cure for everything is salt water: sweat, tears, and the sea.

Nice to know.. Thanks for the report.
My Biggest worry is that when I'm dead and gone, my wife will sell my fishing gear for what I said I paid for it.

Fishing, with me, has always been an excuse to drink in the daytime.
