4/19 Sandy Hook Striper Report
« on: April 19, 2012, 04:15:23 PM »
Got some fuel this morning for this weekends charters and open boat trips and figured while we were at it we would go kill a couple hours on the troll and see what happens.....tip of the hook was teeming with bait and gannets, stopped the boat and threw some storm shads...had stripers following it to the surface only to turn away every time.....frustrating but good to see as well. Went on the troll with the niner rigs and had multiple misses but finally connected on a few nice fish.....trolled all the way home and had our first demon of the year already.....all in all a nice day for a few hours of trying.
We still have 2 spots open for tomorrows open boat...definately sailing...call my cell to reserve a spot!

Nice
Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.

My Biggest worry is that when I'm dead and gone, my wife will sell my fishing gear for what I said I paid for it.
