Pilot - Bass report 4/21
« on: April 21, 2012, 06:06:06 PM »
Had to work hard today but the right crew was on board ready to grind one out.  Kooz and Poor Dog put their work boots on and managed to take a few home.  We got a late start around 8:15 and just missed the fog.  Headed through SHB with a knock down on the Red/whitestretch.  Spit the hook before seeing net.  Rounded the pier and the Chartruese got impalled.  First one to the dunk tank.  WTG boys.  Kept a west run going during the top of tide with baits getting swiped.  Two others jumped on the artificials.   By 11:00, the tide started moving and we did too.  Set up for the bait bite.  With little action until the last 1.5hr of the dump.  Couple of nice flurries.  Two rats returned.  One more makes it to the coffin.  Kooz had a real nice one on that managed to wiggle lose 10 ft from the boat.   rgmn

Tough grind out day but a good one with great friends. t^

way to go
Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.
