Belmar Fluke 8-24
« on: August 25, 2007, 10:22:56 AM »
Tried a couple of spots offshore of Belmar-Spring Lake and it was dead.  One short and serveral sea robins.  Moved up to Elberon-Long branch and had more sea robins, several shorts and one keeper fluke.  All in 50-65' of water.  Fairly large ground swell and when the wind picked up from the South the fishing really died.

Yea.  The weather has really killed the fishing lately.
