Had my brother Tom and my nephew Pat out for a day of fishing. Started clamming off Port Monmouth had a few hits and a skate, decided to go on the troll but as I was heading in towards Keansburg I started marking fish so we threw over the anchor and began clamming again. Had a fish on right away but lost him at the boat just as I was going for the net. Stuck it out for another hour but only a few pickups. Trolled up a couple of blues for my nephew and called it a day. Had a great time with my family on the water. And some great eats. Nice seeing Capt. Carl and Hunter II out there. Back at it tomorrow.
