Reel McCoy II Saturday 5/26
« on: May 26, 2012, 02:21:54 PM »
Drifted the incoming tide on the inside of Sandy Hook channel this morning.  Managed to land three keeper fluke and one short (20",19",17.6" and 17).  It started out pretty slow and then it was all cocktail blues, caught and released about a dozen.  Made a move to the channel edge and got the fluke in two long drifts.  All four fluke were caught on the teaser w/gulp.

Talked to three guys yesterday at my marina all said the same incoming tide they got the fluke from slack to outgoing blues.  t^ on the catch Dan
Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.
