Got up at 5am and checked the weather and it looked like the rain would pass through pretty quickly. Waited for the drizzle to stop at my house and headed to the marina with my daughter at 0715. Storms seemed to be to the north so we headed out towards SH channel only to be greated by a torrential downpour at the mouth of the Shrewsbury. We waited it out and eventualy started fishing a bit wet but ready put some fish in the boat. My daughter quickly put a 20" fish in the boat. After a few drifts no more action so I made a run out to Scotland to give it a try. Made a few drifts where Maggie landed 4 seabass that were just short and I managed a 15" Fluke. Back to drift near the sticks where Maggie landed 2 more Fluke (a 22 and 19.5") Had a great time even it started out on a wet note.
