First Cast Net
« on: May 22, 2012, 11:23:08 PM »
I am looking for some advice on the purchase of my first cast net. I would like something that is (A) reasonably priced (B) versitile - for both bunker and peanuts.

Any ideas?

Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.

EZ cast super speader is IMHO the quickest way to go. Have been using them for 12 years and they've always preformed well.

I have one of these large bunker nets and am very happy with it.   I know they are very similar, if not the same as the Percy nets.    I was going to buy a percy net, but came across these guys at the Somerset saltwater show.    I threw it at the show and bought it.   Purpose built so it does the  job.

Define "reasonable priced"   IMO you'll need a different mesh size for nutz than you will for adult bunker.
