Can Berkley Lightning IM6 rod handle a braid?

Hi All.  I have a Berkley Lightning rod IM6 (6'6", 8-14 lb) that I use with 10 lb mono.  I was considering loading my reel with braid but wondered if the guides could withstand the braid. I don't believe it is supposed to be used with braid but I haven't been able to find any info on this issue when I researched it online.   

Anyone have experience with this rod?

Should be able to handle up to 20 lb. braid or so.  Just be sure to set your drag accordingly.
