Tom and I were out today on Sandy Hook Bay looking for our favorite flatfish. Left the slip at about 7AM and tried the breakwater at Atlantic Highlands and were rewarded with two keeper Fluke where we couldn't get a good drift with wind against tide. Next spot was the Shrewsbury River flats where all conditions were good, but no fish. Out to Officers Row where we fished with a NW wind pushing us from 22' depth to 8' water depth, here we caught our limit of Fluke to 20".Back in by noon, great day on the water with a cool breeze and bright sunshine.
