I'm sure Rod that that can be arranged.  I will be taking the laptop and a ton of photography equipment, plus there is WiFi in the rooms.

Aloha Kakou,

Well, were back and all I can say is WOW.  The only bad thing is that I did not get to go fishing as my friend and I could not link up but that is okay.  Next time will be the charm.  Looking to go in about a year and a half again.

We were on the island of Oahu and this time we made sure to out time to see the island and see things we did not see the last time.  My daughter and I took a ton of pictures but for right now the files are so big that I will have to do a lot of editing to put them up.

We drove 317 miles on the island so that in of itself tells you we were busy.  The island food is fantastic. We ate at mostly all local places and had some remarkable times with old friends and some new ones as well.  One of my quests was to find the perfect Mai Tai.  I couldn't fish so I had to do something constructive.  So the winner is... The Honolulu Elks Lodge.  Worst one was at the Aulani the Disney Resort.

One of the main reasons for going this trip was to get some photos for painting.  It looks like this Winter will be a busy one for me.  The scenery was awesome which made the picture taking easy.  Between the three of us I bet we have a total of over 600 pictures to go through and edit.

Well now it is time to get out and do some fishing here.  Looking to get out at least once this week, we'll see.  We all are just about recuperated from the flight which was non stop from HNL airport close to 11 hours.  You want to talk about a red eye flight.

I know it sounds like a lot of pictures but only a fraction will make it into something that is worth selling or painting.  Here is a sample of a picture I took on the North Shore while my daughter was off taking pictures of a beached turtle.  This one I might paint.
