The wife and I started our day Saturday Snagging a few bunker and pulled a Yellow Eye Demon from the bunker school, moved and tried a few other bunker Schools with no luck. Headed for the fluking grounds off of the Red Church and found a steady bite with me Bucktailing and the Cath dragging bait we put 4 keepers in the box thanks to our new 17.5 Regs.
Sunday it was me and my brother in law Coyote Cal hitting the Fluke Grounds and a steady 66 degree water temp no matter if we fished deep or in near the beach but the magic was in the 40 ft area off of Long Branch where we nearly put our 2 man limit together falling 1 shy. We bucktailed all day with Gulp taking most of the credit.
I'm figureing we boated close to 50 fish with the our biggest going 22 inches. The area I fished today not another boat near me all day could not believe that
, Irish Ayes finally showed up on the scene toward the end of the day
