Saturday 6/16 we had Justin, Evan, Brian, Lou, Keith and Keith. Broke the inlet at the ass crack of dawn to some nice looking bunker. Couple drifts and nothing. Then 3 on at once, we thought it was lights out. Landed 2 of the 3 and they were both over 40lbs. Not a touch after that.
Tried for a while longer making our way towards the bottom fishing grounds, and nothing. Went bottom fishing for a while then a big ol blue shark came over and we threw out the shark rig for some fun!!! Let the guys play around with it until we decided to release the stupid thing. Ended the day with 2 nice bass(Evans PB of 41#) 4 decent fluke, 4 nice seabass and a fat ling. Tough day of fishing for sure.
