Left our slip at Atlantic Highlands Harbor about 7 AM, Tom and I found a keeper Fluke for him just outside the harbor. Not getting anything else we went on a search, to the white cans along the Ammo pier, then to #10 Sandy Hook Channel and the candlesticks with only a few shorts. Waited for the tide change with poor results, made a move to the North Beach finding few fish, drifted out to the False Hook where we found drop and reel shorts. Headed back in at noon where Tom picked up a 20" keeper Fluke just outside the harbor. No keepers for me today Tom saved the day, maybe I should fish closer to him (five feet apart). Pete
