Reel McCoy II Thursday 6/21 Evening report
« on: June 21, 2012, 10:08:56 PM »
Worked at home today and had my last conference call of the day end about 330, just as my daughter got home from the beach.  She agreed to go out for a short trip to try for some fluke.  Left Bahr's about 430 and tried a few drifts by Earle, and a few more by the #1 can/bug light at the tip.  Started fishing at the change and did not have a decent drift.  We called it after 2 hours with only a short (16") and two robins.  The whole area was loaded with bunker who did not seem disturbed by any bass or blues.  While it was a little cooler than on land it was not too comfortable fishing even that late in the day.

On days like that the robbins become strips very quickly on YSA.

Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.
