RB fluking 6/26

Left port at 8:00 to find a nice chop and a stiff wind throughout the bay buy managed our 4 man limit by 4 :00  by drifting strip baits and gulp in between 10-15ft. Short to keeper ratio around 8:1. Good day in sporty conditions.

Sporty is an understatement .Went down to Keyport harbor mid-morning and it was honking .Boat after boat were heading for the barn early .

We were determined because my uncle and his friend were down from upstate ny for the day. My father and I agreed, even with a pretty good bite, two or three for the table and we would have called it in.

Nice job, you really feel like a fisherman when you can get the job done in rough conditions. You feel like a fisherman even if you try. I love this sport.

Left them with my uncle to take back to NY, two limits this year and I still haven't had a bite. Some fish eating company would be appreciated because I'm the only one who will eat them in my house, too much of a PITA to make as a snack for myself or maybe I'm just lazy
