OK, sorry the report is a day late. But taking to nephews out for a day of fishing is exhausting and expensive!
A big Thanks goes out to Brijones1 for the helping hand..
Well the Peanuts are all over the AH marina.. I netted them right at the ramp dock.. The Crew was Matthew Gahrmann, Justin Gahrmann, Brian Jones, and myself ( Uncle Joe).
After leaving the AH matina.. we heading into the back bay and found fish right away. We put a few nice fish in the box that alll measure 19"s.. Then I made a dumb mistake .. went looking for fish while on fish.. I head down to the back bay and the wind followed. Which was just right on the money with the weather.com( yeah Right) I ran into Salty Pig as we were flying across the bay! The nephews like to go fast! He said he had a few, we tried but the wind was kicking! So we went back west to first spot .. nailed a bunch of blues on jigs, and a few more fluke. I decide to try to get out of the wind and ran to the fish traps. Ok another Keeper up to 19"s.. Then we move it the Hook cove. We the boys pick up a few 100 sea robins and 2 nice Sand sharks... We made a run back to the big hole again nailed another keeper and some blues before calling it a night. I filleted , wash the boat, Brian got the Ole get home now call from the little lady(Oh boy not good), we hit Burger King(ouch on the wallet) and finally got home around midnight.
So to recap the day:
1) a great day with my nephews and Brian
2) Monday is Moron monday on the water! Brian
knows!
3) Two nephews on a boat both age 13 and age
11 is exhausting.
4) You better have tough skin on board, These two
are tough on you if you miss a fish!
5) Man can these 2 suck down some food and drinks!
6) Its all good at the end of the day with
these Pics.!!
Another thing, Now I know what my Dad spent to take us out for the day fishing!!
