Had a good run at it today! Put a load of Pnutz on ice yesterday for some bottom scrounging. We met at 5:15 and shoved off right around half the hour. Nice easy ride to the tip and headed south for some grind it out flattie and C bass fishing. First drop and we poked a couple of CB's and a nice 22" fluke in the tub. That was going to be our largest fluke for the day. Hit three different areas all producing fish. We boated approximately 50 flatfish, 35+ Cbass, 2 smooth doggies, and a Lionel Ritchie. Fresh bunker strip, gulp with Pnut or Killies worked equally well. There was a steady pick all morning and afternoon.
Wrapped up at 2:00 and headed back to fillet a few fish and clean up Z'O.
Way tired to write much. Kooz, Tbone and Silent Assassin are great company and the right guys to have on the boat when there are fish around.
