Fished on my buddies Bobs' boat today, he's a couple slips up from me at my marina. We headed north to the Red Church area and picked at shorts inshore. Then we went a little further out to about 50 ft and we started to catch a few keepers mixed with the short. My buddy had two at 18 and 20. I had four fish at 18,18,20 and 29 inches. The 29 inches was 9 lbs. He was caught on white gulp 4" swimming minnow with a strip a sea robin to sweeten the deal. North West wind light in the AM then it picked up in the afternoon. My buddy reminded me it was on July 2nd last year that he caught the 43Lb striper on my boat last year.
