Pilot - Raritan Bay Angler Fluke Tourney - 7/14

Had the right players on board today including Tbone, Kooz and Skunk but we just couldn't get it done.   Started off with everything aligned.  Snaps, Pnutz, strip bait, Killies and the usual assortment of Bucktails and gulp.  Our first drop was real encouraging when we put consecutively larger fish in the box one after another weighing out at 4.7lbs.   Then the bottom dropped out.  We fished hard on a bunch of spots that were being shared by every other boat on the Jersey coast.  That's to be expected.  Some of the spots we've fished have been picked clean.  Just have to find new batches.   Ended the day with 9 good fluke, 3 seabiscuits and a ling.   Till next time

We gave it a real hard shot but it was tough fishing Pilot.  All in all a great day though with some quality fish for the table. Thanks!  TBone
