Party Boat report 7/9 and 7/10
« on: July 10, 2012, 06:41:02 PM »
Went on a fluking party boat out of the Shark River fleet, not a good 2 days at all..... Monday had fairly rough condintions and I could not bucktail, leaving me to only catch 6 shorts for the day nothing close to a keeper  rgmn (The boat had 7 keepers that day :/)

7/10 wasn't much better, I had 5 shorts(All around 15-17, not 1 keeper!) with a TON of missed hook ups. My dad caught 2 keepers at 18 inches and 21. Was able to bucktail today.

Mainly fished the Sandy Hook/Monmouth area, 35-50 feet of water. Fishing was bad but getting out and getting at least a tan was fun. Hoping to get out next week.

I always kick his ass in, ever since the personal best these few times of him winning is just leading up to me catching a 10 lber :P I forgot to add he lost the pool today with the 21 incher by about an ounce, closest he's ever gotten to the pool.

Patience is certainly the key paul-e.

Good reporting. If we caught a ton of fish every trip we wouldn't want to go out again cause there wouldn't be a challenge anymore.  TT^
