>:( rgmn >:( REALLLLYL UGH!!!!!!!! I was gonna beach it; get a lil R&R time in for me and me alone for a change. Ya know, swim, read, get some sun :P sooo this is NNJ... the brown over where I'd be going is what a 5% chance?? What do you think?  :headscra: 80-20 that I'll get a good day in?????? You have become my personal weather man so I thought I would ask!!!  clp clp

You should still be able to get a beach day in.  It may be interrupted in the afternoon or later afternoon.  Be prepared to get to your car quickly, in case of any storms popping up.  Going to be a hot one too, with breezy winds (warm) out of the southwest at 15-20 knots with some higher gusts.  Storms will be coming from the northwest and moving southeast, so keep looking to your west and north while on the beach.

Enjoy TT^!!

Here is the current radar for the area.  Well organized, multicellular storms have formed in western PA with embedded supercells.  These storms have already caused numerous reports of wind damage and currently have several tornado warnings in effect in PA.  Also very dangerous cloud to ground lightning.  These will be moving into the area this evening, and although the threat for tornadoes is minimal, the threat for damaging winds is significant!

I think you have a decent chance.  Calling for 30% chance of showers/thunderstorms right now, but models are showing later in the afternoon.  Water conditions look good too!

Yeah well now I can't find someone to cover business for me.... Damn owning your own business really interferes with fishing.

The SPC has again placed most of NJ and surrounding states(see map) in a Slight Risk for Severe Weather.  The threat will be a combination of possible storms forming out of the area and moving in squall lines, as well as isolated or scattered thunderstorms popping up and intensifying quickly.  Wind, Hail and even tornadoes are a threat today in the later afternoon and evening.

Saturday has a 30% chance of thunderstorms, it doesn't look to be organized or widespread, mostly isolated or scattered, however the conditions are still there to form storms, which could be strong to severe.  With the high temps and humidity, the daytime heating causes instability.  Water conditions are looking good, however.  If you go out, make sure you watch the weather and have a quick out, in case it gets ugly out there.
