Headed out early yesterday morning with Paule for yet another installment of  “ Kenny and Paule’s excellent fishing  adventures ”…( been too long since the last one ) Filled two open spots from a friend on the Monger to hunt down some Fluke...

Fished maybe a mile or so off Spring Lake in some nice lazy seas with a west breeze and had near perfect drifting conditions …I fished with a 4oz bucktail all day with no problem !  the fish were hungry too, hitting the bucktail and teaser about the same…white seemed to work the best with me but did notice that they preferred the 6” grub over the 6”mullet on the teaser…Boxed up our limit by 1pm with some nice fat fish and a 9+ lber in the box and headed for the barn by 2pm.

Great day as you would expect aboard the Monger … Jerry had us on a steady bite all day and Mate John did his thing in the cockpit…crew was a blast with tons of laughs…. thanks again guys !! 

After the last few weeks I've had it sure was nice to get back out and get fishing!! I don't think I talked Paule’s ear off too bad….Great to get back out on the water with you buddy!!….Always fun plus we get to do it again next Friday !!!
