YSA OOS
« on: August 09, 2012, 10:05:27 AM »

We had another beautiful Weds. magic hour cruise disguised as a flukin trip, with zero fish to show for it. At least we are consistent...

The crusty demons of Matawan Crick have decreased my WOT RPM and speed to ridiculous lows. All this comes with the added benefit that I need fuel EVERY time I leave the dock now, too!! YAY.

We loaded her up back on the 5 Starr and hauled her home for some mid season maintenance.

Multi-season bottom paint? What a crock.

Hopefully re-splash Sat or Sun.

only works if you run the boat enough.
Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.

Good luck with the maintenance.

If ya can, post pix of the hull?  Just curious to see it.

Have a few buds in KMB and KYC that say the growth is through the roof compared to other marinas/moorings they have been in.

Multi-season paint does work, usually......  Strict adherence to application instructions is a must. Usually a minimum of 2 coats and sometimes 3 must be applied. And power washing at the end of the season should be minimal. Also if your in fast moving water at your slip, the bottom growth will be faster and more of it.

Fishing, with me, has always been an excuse to drink in the daytime.
