Fish Monger Friday 08/24/12
« on: August 26, 2012, 01:48:26 AM »
Out with Capt. Jerry P on Friday.
Missed my wingman Kenny on today's trip as he had truck troubles on his way home from his "Fish and fireworks" Monger trip Thursday night rgmn rgmn

Was too way quiet for me without him and fishing was tough. Only had 19 keeps for us the day after a 10 AM limit the day before. :P

But that's fishing.

Capts report:
Fri 8/24 Fluke to 9 1/4 lbs - Well it was bound to happen like Had would say everyday cant b Christmas! Tough tough bite after crushing them all week. No drift and lack of bites made for a long day. But we made the best of of it... hopped to a couple of wrecks since amid found some bigger fish including Al's 9 1/4 n a few 6s but not enough. Grinded out 19 keepers. Crew was a blast as always! Thanks again guys!

Saw these guys on the water today as well.
Rod may have "comfy deck chairs, but it looks like Capt. Joe allows sun bathing on his bow.

Good to see you out there PaulE. You looked like a lost little puppy without your sidekick Kenny with you.  ;D

It was a tuff day, but a tuff day for the Monger is a great day in anyyone else's book.  t^

Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.
