Fishing the single canle stick .8/24

[Salty Dog]

Fished from a buddy's boat today .Made peanuts and headed for the the Hook .Very little drift .Caught one keeper ,but it was slow .Moved over closer the Ambrose channel ,looking for more of a drift .Started getting the birds .Drift picked up and so did fishing .Again plain peanuts worked best .Managed to put 9 the box ,between three of us fishing .We held bottom with 2oz's. all day .Nice day on the water .We've been lucky to have such light winds in the end of August .
