9/12 Sandy Hook Fluke Trip

Had the Lepere group out yesterday started slow in the am but picked up in the afternoon with the tide change and a welcome breeze to get us moving. Ended up with 14 keeper Fluke to 6.4 lbs. we also had about a 100 lbs. Thresher Shark that ate a Fluke on the way up and we were lucky enough to wind it up to the boat before it bit through the leader at the boat. Fun trip with a great group thanks Mike!

Thanks! Yea pretty cool he snatched it just before we could get the net to it. Wish I could of got a pic!

At least you saw it which is something you will remember for ever...  t^ As much as I love photos and taking them, its not that easy when you are trying to fish!  ;D
