Sandy Hook 10/17

Fished the Hook this morning from 5:30 to 8;30 .Very little going on .Threw everything at them ,with little success .Threw ava17's w/yellow tail and teasers ,caught lots of herring ,almost like a blue fish blitz .Didn't see anything else caught .A bunch of boats working the area ,but none staying in any one place for long . nosmly

thanks for the report, it was a nice day, I also took a ride and bottom fished beyond the sticks, plenty of short everything. did not see the trollers catching anything.

Wanted to run the boat yesterday after fuel filter change. I had some eels left over and thought I'd fish for a few hours just like you said very slow in the am saw a couple fish caught we caught one small bass and a couple bluefish. Nothing like the other day. Nice day though!

Didn't put the boat to bed yet Eddie .Looking at another in two weeks .20' Starcraft .Still would like to squeeze one more trip out've this season in current boat .  5hrug

We fished the Fishing Acess beach Wednesday  cought 15 skates and a few sea robins and a few fluke as well.Didnt see any bass cought
