Tuesday 10-23 bass and blues...
« on: October 23, 2012, 05:47:00 PM »
Left MI at 7:30 with one buddy on board, turned north and headed towards the Shrewsbury Rocks. Before we got there we saw working birds in the Asbury Park area. We jigged and found monster bluefish. Moved a little bit north and jigged up a nice keeper bass. Now the bass were rolling on top of the water. Threw a top water plug at them and had a huge one on that broke off right at the boat! rgmn

Tried trolling up by the red church, had tons of marks, no takers. Ended the day trolling outside the hotel in spring lake in 40-50 ft of water, again tons of marks, but no takers.

Final tally -1 keeper bass, 1 lost boatside, 7 (or so) big blues. Lots of laughs, great day on the water!

Hoping to get back out at the end of the week - Ross

Great job, Ross.

I'll be out tomorrow. Getting a little late start but, hope to find some action. Joe what channel are you on?
