New to NJ Saltwater Fisherman
« on: September 02, 2012, 06:20:06 PM »
I used to surf fish with my Dad over 60 years ago in NE. I live in NJ and am looking forward to surf fishing here probably at Sandy Hook. Needless to say I've been out of fishing for a long time. Where do you recommend I go to for tackle needs and bait?
Thank you in advance for your help and suggestions!

grtn The tackle shop on the site here is a good place to start. Where will you be traveling from? That will help us point you in the right direction
Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.

Thanks for all the input and responses. I will be traveling from the Old Bridge area. I will check out the tackle shop on the site as well as Julians and the Tackle Box.
Thank you again.
