Weather this week will be seasonal and dry with the exception of Tuesday. Tuesday into Tuesday night will bring a high chance of rain and possibly snow showers/snow. Snow and snow accumulation will depend on the track of the low. Currently, farther inland and north have a better chance of snow and accumulation of 1-3 inches. Highs will get into the 40's with lows down into the 30's and 20's. For the most part, water conditions are rated good, but vary by day and location. Tuesday into Wednesday could likely see small craft advisories and even gale warnings with the exiting of the low pressure system off the coast. The marine forecast models are not yet reflecting this forecast. Surf conditions should be good all week in the 0-2 foot range except for Tuesday, which could see some rough surf conditions and higher waves.
High pressure will move off the coast on Monday allowing a low pressure system that is forming in the Southern Plains to move northeast and off the coast on Tuesday. Two high pressure systems will then move into the area behind the low pressure system for the rest of the week.
