Car theft
« on: November 30, 2012, 09:27:35 PM »
So Im a late night guy. I happened to look out my window two nights ago and noticed a black minivan that I've never seen in the neighborhood parked outside my neighbors house. I watched him for about 15 minutes before two men exited and made a bee line towards my neighbors car. I could see them working a long object into the passenger side window so I called the cops to come pick them up. They worked on the car for a couple minutes then left. Few minutes later the first cop pulled up. I let them know what happened, description, etc. As i was talking to the now 3 patrol officers I see headlights coming up the road. I'll be damned, that's them! They came back!  Cops chased them down and got them.  BUT, my neighbor knows the driver, says he WAS a friend with a oxycotin addiction. Neighbor declines pressing charges for fear of retaliation.  rgmn. Cops couldn't press charges cause no entry was made. They used a tree stick to try and pop the lock. Came back the second time with a length of wire coat hanger. Frustrating that nothing was done. I hope for their sake that they don't come back cause they might meet "marshal" (or a glock 21 or rem 870 if that fails). Thanks for letting me rant

Lol on that video

I keep my jeep unlocked. It has a soft top so I figure if someone wants in they will at least try the doors or the zipper before cutting my top open. Nothing in there anyway and I like to think most car thieves don't know how to drive stick. Plus thats why I have insurance. I just dont like that element around my house, wife, and child. I must say that the cops and dispatcher were very responsive and pleasant to deal with

I guess the would have needed a change of underwear if the neighbor would have shot at their knees from the house window. cfzd rofla
