Tim, the newlywed...
« on: January 03, 2013, 09:14:37 PM »
Tim decided to tie the knot with his long time girlfriend. One evening, after the honeymoon, he was assembling some rigs for an upcoming striper trip.

His wife was standing there at the bench watching him. After a long period of silence she finally speaks. "Honey, I've been thinking, now that we are married I think it's time you quit  fishing, hunting, and camping,. Maybe you should sell your boat, fishing tackle, camper and guns."

Tim gets this horrified look on his face.

She says, "Darling, what's wrong?"

"There for a minute you were sounding like my ex-wife", says Tim.

"Ex wife!" she screams, "I didn't know you were married before!"

"I wasn't"!

Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.

Fishing, with me, has always been an excuse to drink in the daytime.

It is to be observed that 'angling' is the name given to fishing by people who can't fish.
