we have not been out in a few weeks so we expected the worst and hoped for the best.. the crowd was all here...
fished water from 110--125 ft..
first drop took a few minutes to catch the first one.. bites were missed.. we started picking fish around the boat.. delaware bob had a bruit on and fought it for 10 mins or so when the fish took his fourth run and back into the bottom he went.. fish was hung and broke off.. a few mins later mr. john from virginia caught a 14.4.made a second drop and picked more nicer fish, and on the third drop nj kenny, a defect from edisonand retired to delaware got his.. a 15.8 lb fish, on a new rod given to him by his nj buddy jimmy...
final total 9 or 10 fish in the 8-10 lb class.. 10 or so between 6- 10 lbs,, about 40 keepers total.. not bad for march fishing.. 43.5 degree water.. well be at it after the storm, fishing sat and sun..
