stiper report

ok, tues 4pm after blow,went down to same spot found fish swirling, clear shad,not white,lost count around 20 fish caught , got my first keeper 29 incher,most fish 18 to 24 inch, light tackle,all fish were with a light pump of the bottom,you almost think its bottom ,at dusk caught fish on every cast for a hour,going with a friend tonight will send report thurs, all fish caught off land great way to start the year,before those toothy  critters show up ;D

Seaside tackle shop reported a 31 inch bass caught in Toms River and reports of some catches along the beach....

That would be Grumpy's... slt  There have been some flatties caught as well in the Toms River as well.  Try along the small beaches and the docks as they are pretty good producers this time of year.

If you have a way to get in touch with him tell him to try the small park area just south of the marina and the dock just north of the marina in Island Heights.  Not the Yacht club, although it is good there as well if you can get out there.
