FISHERMEN/Sunday Stripers
« on: April 14, 2013, 04:26:16 PM »
Water temp 50.4 degrees with a much better water quality today. Had some nice readings on the bottom when we got to the area we wanted to fish.

Incoming ran into the wind all morning, not the best conditions but we did manage to have our best fishing of the year so far.
First fish of the day went 16 pounds followed by several more keepers and a bunch of shorts. High hooks had 4 and 5 fish for the day.

Thought the bite would get better after the change and the outgoing, but that didn't happen. Things are progressing as they should for this time of year, can't wait to get back out tomorrow.

Capt. Dan will start night fishing this coming Friday 6:30pm till 11:30pm. Every night with Sunday being an earlier trip from 3:30pm till 9:30pm.
Some nice first pics for 2013!!!

Nice job Captain. If they're around, you'll be the one to find them.  t^

The wife and I were at Windansea for lunch and SH bay was really ripping.   Wind against tide had it going.

Nice job
