4/21 Sandy Hook Striped Bass Report.....off the hook today!

Today was just awesome!.....left the Highlands at 7:30 a.m. and hit our spot around 8:15 in a stiff north wind. By 9:30 we had our 5 man limit of bass to 33 inches. Tide dropped out and so did the bite. Stuck it out for a bit but it didnt happen. Went on the troll to fill the gangs bonus tags and had them right away. Filled the tags and played catch and release for over an hour with bass to 22 lbs. Great day on the water!

Thanks for the great day of fishing capt. Carl.  Because of your fine talent of finding fish, Kenny is way up on Mr. Cooper and I was able to finally catch a striper on my new rod and it really felt  great. As always Matt did a fantastic  job handling the back deck with all of us and trying to keep Kenny quiet so the rest of us could concentrate on fishing! fcp. It was great seeing everyone and a great start to another year of fishing.
