Western raritan bay tour
« on: April 24, 2013, 09:51:23 PM »
I was able to get out a few times the last few days from the surf, Sunday night fished the mulch piles, had several hits and my friend landed the smallest striped bass Ive ever seen. Monday am (dark) fished the mulch piles again by myself had two hits then came tight on a good one never got to see him as the line broke when he swam into the rocks. Tonight fished the other side under the water tower, dont know if I had any hits or not because there were so many bunker there that kept swimming into my lines. Managed to lasso 3 of them then had one good hit as i was wrapping up bit the line got bit in half so needless to say theres some demons running around. Go back to work tomorrow night so fishing is on hold until Monday unless someone needs to fill a spot tomorrow morning.

Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.

Good effort.   t^  At least you found life, even if they weren't dumb enough to bite your hook.
