NJ Fishing & Boating Weather Outlook: Weekend Edition Apr 27-28, 2013

This should be a nice Spring weekend, with dry conditions, sunny skies and temperatures in the mid 60's with lows down into the mid 40's.  Water conditions will be good for all locations and there are not any Small Craft Advisories in the forecast.  Water temperatures are around the same with 50's for ocean waters and mid 50's for bays and rivers.  Midshore water temperatures are up a few degrees pushing the upper 40's into 50's now.  Surf conditions will be normal with 1-2 and 2-3 foot waves on Saturday and 0-2 and 1-2 foot waves on Sunday.

A look ahead to next week looks to be mostly dry with possibility of some rain towards the end of the week.  Temperatures will be seasonable with mid 60's and lows in the mid 40's.  End of the week could see a jump in temperatures into the upper 70's and low 80's.  Water conditions are looking good all week except for Monday and Tuesday for areas south of Little Egg Inlet where Small Craft Advisories are possible.

High pressure will settles across the Mid Atlantic States on Friday and Saturday.  The same high pressure will then center over New England and Canada on Sunday through the beginning of the week.
