After an endless wait, blown out trips due to MotherNature, Friends cancelling I finally got the boat out of the driveway and into the drink! Wasn't sure what the bait situation was gonna be so purchased the bunker hopefully the last time I have to do that this year! Motored out of the back bay to one of my spots on the NY side. Nasty East SE wind in the face against what was left of the outgoing tide made for a real crap ride, slowed up on the spot to a couple marks and dropped the pin. Couple chunks over the side and my partner is in and it looks Bassy and Bassy it was one for the box figured with no tide this was a sign well not quite put 4 more in the boat through a bunch of the Toothy ones, can't they make a detour straight to New England? Hit a couple more spots back towards the river to no avail! Beautiful night to break the season bass cherry. Catch em up fellas!!!!!!!
