Open Day Fluke,Skunk, and some C&R

Left the dock at 0500 and had the water to ourselves as we set up outside of Belford.
Capt. Chad wanted to clam today as the blues were tearing the bunks apart the day before.

Made several moves during the morning and worked across the bay to Rockaway with no Stripers.

Decided to go into fluke mode and joined the fleet that was surrounding the Sandy Hook area.
Made lots of moves and only managed a few shorts for our efforts.
There was quite a flotilla out there and was surprised to see that The Big J and the Gambler were this far North.

Then,just for some fun,the Capt bails on the fluke and double anchors over some rocks where we ended the day with some C&R with the Togs and Sea Bass.
It was silly fun catching as we must have caught and released over 100 fish up to 8 pounds in a little over an hour.

Back to the barn at 12pm.
Got to see ReelMccoy Dan at the dock and stoped by Capt. Carl at Wet Dreams to say hello on my way home.
