Aberdeen Saturday night
« on: May 12, 2013, 01:35:59 AM »
Got down to my spot around 7:30 high tide was at 9:30. Started off pretty slow than blue fish starting biting about a hour before the tide. I caught two of them. Than it slowed down again. I was throwing bunker heads and chunks all night so i decided to switch to clams. About a half hour after the tide i was about to give up so i lit my last cig and started reeling in my one pole. BAM something nails my other pole on the clam. It didnt come back. So i decided to give it another fifteen min. Throw my line back out there and a couple min later something hits it again this time it came back. Right when i hooked up with it i knew it was a bass. Man did it fight i would get it in than it would run back out. After about ten min i finally got the bass in. 34 inch between ten and fifteen pounds. My first bass this year from the shore YEAH!!!!!!
Why can't we fish 5 days a week and work 2!

Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.

Fishing Sandy Hook and anywhere I can get on a boat.

My biggest fear is when I die my wife sells all of my fishing tackle for what she thinks I paid for it!
