Aberdeen Surf Fishing report!!
« on: May 10, 2013, 11:24:34 AM »
On Wensday i went to Aberdeen neer the rockwall to try my luck for some BASS!!!. I got down there at 6:30 pm. High tide was 6:45 pm. I bought fresh bunker and clams for bait. When i got to my spot i put a bunker head on one pole. A chunk on another than a clam on the last one. . After five mins i got a hit on the pole with the bunker head. Fish didnt come back. About ten min later i got a solid it on the bunker head when i went to set it i pulled it right out of its mouth. For the next hour i didnt even get a hit. Than the BLue fish came in. I was catching them on clams and the  chunks i think they were even nibbling on the heads. I had to switch to one rod cause as soon as the bait hit the bottom BAM!!! another five pound blue fish. I ended up landing about seven of them. Had probably about 15 hook ups but they kept biting threw my leader. Or breaking off at the rocks. No bass but action all night so i am not complaining!!!!!
Why can't we fish 5 days a week and work 2!

I'm new to the area living near Edison can you please tell where this rock wall is. Thank you
Keep your hooks in the water and your bait fresh.

Google Earth is a wonderful thing.  Just type in Aberdeen and see what comes up.
