Made a solo trip today. Girls are with their mom and pops is in Ohio at my nephews graduation. Headed to the usual starting spot and got a short and a robin. Headed over by the rocks, nothing. The fleet was to the north a little drift was decent so decided to join in. short, short and nothing else. Went back over to my starting point again. wasn't another boat around. picked up about 20 shorts with a few keepers mixed in, and a blue that wanted to see how many lines of mine he could wrap around. would have limited out but one was missing its tail and measured 17". then the wind shifted. the end.
