Ran double today....
In the a.m. had Gary Carr and crew out for some Sea Bass. Ran out to the deep with a nw wind and a cranking outgoing tide and pretty much had crap drift conditions for the first 3 hrs of the trip on the drift...too fast but we managed until the tide swung with wind against to slow us down. Had lock and load for a couple hours boxing over 30 biscuits and releasing a ton of shorts....threw in a nice 4.5 lb fluke at the end of the trip to round it out. Nice day guys!
Back out at 1:30 for a Fathers Day Before trip with Mark, Gary, Kenny, Frank and Frank Jr for some flatties. Started off boxing 4 on the first 2 drifts...came back for a 3rd and zilch...made a move and stayed all afternoon with nice steady action....keeper here and a keeper there...lots of shorts until the birds took over at the end of the night. Ended with 10 keeps. Nice job again....and Happy Fathers Day to all the dads out there!
