Jake, my buddy Bob, his son Danny and I decided to jump on the Sea Horse for a little Fathers day fluke’in. We stayed inside the bay all day. In the morning, when there was some tide but very little wind, we picked at shorts with a keeper here and there coming over the rail. Once the tide went slack it was pretty much dead even with power drifting with on occasional fish coming over the rail. Then after what seemed forever when the tide started moving again (and wind) we picked at shorts with the occasion keeper coming over the rail. We ended up with about ten shorts and 1 keeper each. Most on the boat had 1 keeper, some had two and a few had three. I don’t think there were any limits but I could be wrong. Salted mackerel strips worked well, but bites we very soft with a lot of hanger on’ers.
