Late 7/5 report
« on: July 08, 2013, 03:54:24 PM »
Headed on a NS out of PP on Friday w/ Dave Brink and his nephew Billy. The trip was for ling/sea bass. 20 fares on board headed out for a couple drops to find some SB not a great bight dave managed 1, the captain worked all over the place getting a decent ling bight going. Conger eels where all over, and a few whititng were caught as well as some of the biggest winter flounder I have ever caught seen up wards of 3.5 lbs all to swim again. Ended the day with 37 ling 1 SB and 1 cod which dave caught and won the pool with.

That may be why fishing is off ,water temp .If there is still flounder a round .Temp on the surface and temp on the bottom is a big difference .

I've been fishing deep lately...40-90 ft and the sinkers are super cold when you reel them back up.
